After reading this article I've learned how big companies have saved so much money on ink by simply redesigning the logo for using less ink. The idea is less is more, so the little changes make the biggest impact. In 2014, a teenager made headlines around the world when he said that by switching from the typeface Times New Roman to the less ink-intensive Garamond, the US government would save $400 million a year. meanwhile some companies think we should not touch the brand because its a "sacred temple".
